Jharkhand  The state contributes 26.4% to the total share of coal production in India. It has around 83.15 billion tonnes of coal reserves. 

Odisha The state has a contribution of 25.1% share to the total coal production in India, and has over 79.30 billion tonnes of coal reserves. 

Chhattisgarh It has a contributes of 18.1% to the total coal production in India, and has 57 million tonnes of coal reserves.   

West Bengal  It contributes 10.8% share to the total output of coal production in India, and has 33.87 million tonnes of coal reserves. 

Madhya Pradesh  It has a contribution of 9.8% to the total production of coal in India, and has 30.92 million tonnes of coal reserves. 

Telangana  The state contributes 7.3% to the total output of the coal production in India, and has 23.03 million tonnes of coal reserves.
