Recently, Meta announced the launch of Llama 2, a new version of its LLM. It is freely available to developers for research and commercial use. However, if your company has over 700 million monthly active users, you won’t be able to use it freely as individual developers. You will need to get special permission from Meta to use Llama 2.

4. Chat GLM- 6B powered by Zhipu AI

Recently, it has been all over the news for receiving massive funding from the Chinese food delivery giant- “Meituan.” This giant’s market cap is over $100 billion.
Zhipu open-sourced its bilingual conversational AI model Chat GLM- 6B. It is trained on 6 billion parameters. You can use it either in Chinese or English.

Its general-purpose variant i.e. GLM-130B is trained on 130 billion parameters.
